Hamilton Island Weddings is a privately owned and operated business on Hamilton Island, with experience in organising and supplying services to over 500 weddings every year. From cars to butterflies, photography, video, fireworks and much more, their dedicated team of Whitsunday wedding consultants will organise every detail of your wedding, so all you need to do is relax.
Ceremony Options
All Saints Chapel
As the name suggests, the All Saints Chapel is non-denominational, which enables the chapel to play host to ceremonies of almost all religions including Catholic, Uniting, Anglican and many more, in additional to being able to host non-religious ceremonies conducted by a civil celebrant.
The All Saints Chapel is air-conditioned and provides a beautiful private location for both religious and non-religious ceremonies.
All Saints Chapel Gardens
If you love the location of Hamilton Island's All Saints Chapel but a chapel ceremony doesn't suit your needs, then the manicured lawns alongside the All Saints Chapel will be perfect.
Located next to the All Saints Chapel itself, the Chapel Gardens have a fantastic unspoilt view across Cats-eye Bay.
Beach Club Gardens
The Beach Club Gardens and Infinity pool are part of The Beach Club Resort on Hamilton Island, and with its lush green gardens and pool area, the Beach Club Resort is the perfect location for your outdoor ceremony. Due to the exclusive nature of The Beach Club, only couples who are staying at The
Beach Club on the night of their wedding may have their ceremony within its grounds.
Cats-eye Beach
Cats-eye Beach is one of Hamilton Island’s most popular outdoor ceremony locations, at high or low tide Cats-eye Beach boasts one of the best settings found in the Whitsundays.
One Tree Hill
Hamilton Islands One Tree Hill Ceremony Location is set in a Pavilion overlooking the Beautiful Whitsunday Islands.
Whitsunday Gardens
Whitsunday Gardens is located directly in front of Whitsunday Apartments high rise building on the resort side of Hamilton Island. The area consists of lush green manicured lawns and scattered garden beds. Whitsunday Gardens also has a broken view of the Cats-eye Bay through the palm trees.
Whitehaven Beach
Whitehaven Beach is arguably the most beautiful beach in the world. Its unique white sand and clear blue water makes it one of the most stunning and most unique places to be married. Although you will feel a million miles from anywhere, Whitehaven Beach is actually located on Whitsunday Island, and is only 8 minutes flight by helicopter from Hamilton Island.
Whitehaven Beach ceremony permit
Hamilton Island Weddings is the only company with a commercial permit specifically to conduct wedding ceremonies on Whitehaven Beach, which means you are not required to apply for and obtain your own permit from the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Environmental Protection Agency.
Reception Options
Beach House Restaurant
The Beach House sits at the edge of Hamilton Island's Cats-eye Beach, boasting stunning views of the Coral Sea and Whitsunday Island.
The Beach House can cater for a romantic dinner for two or a sole use function for up to 120 and is open for lunch and dinner functions.
Denison Star Motor Yacht
Denison Star offers the perfect venue for a truly unique experience, with options including seated dining in its stylish fully air-conditioned Dining Room on the Lower Deck, or cocktail style functions under the stars on the Upper Deck.
Mariners “Seafood & Stuff”
As the name suggests, Mariners Seafood and Stuff specialises in fresh seafood of the highest quality, however they don’t forget the non-seafood guests attending your wedding, with a large range of other dishes on offer.
Mariners is situated on the Marina side of Hamilton Island, with views across Hamilton Island harbour to the West, perfect for viewing the famous Whitsunday sunset. The restaurant caters for groups of up to 100 in comfort with the ability for a large range of layout and table plan options to be achieved.
Romanos Restaurant
Romanos is a beautifully positioned restaurant on Front Street overlooking the foreshore of
Hamilton Island Marina. With its polished timber floors, high ceiling, split-level dining, a relaxed bar and vast deck space, the restaurant can cater for weddings of all sizes from an intimate dinner for two to a cocktail party for 300.
Toucan Tango Café & Bar
Toucan Tango Cafe & Bar is located in the main resort centre, offering both beachfront and poolside access and spectacular sea views across Cats-eye Beach. Toucan Tango provides you with a restaurant and bar that truly captures the tropical environment in which we are situated. The decor is unique, using wild splashes of citrus colours to provide a vibrant tropical feel, which sets the tone for a fun and beachy feel on your wedding day.
Beach Front Marquee
The Bougainvillea Marquee is situated alongside the beach, with stunning views cross Cats-eye Bay. This extremely versatile venue is the perfect location for an indoor/outdoor style wedding reception.
Cats-Eye Beach
A reception venue complete with sand between the toes... locations for your reception don't get any more unique than Cats-eye Beach.
Reception by the Pool
The Main Pool location is set alongside the main resort pool, opposite Toucan Tango restaurant. It provides a lovely tropical atmosphere along with all the amenities of a restaurant reception. The stunning surrounds of the pool and palm trees creates the base for a world of opportunities for decoration.
Reception on the Dock
Capture the true spirit of Hamilton Island and enjoy the fabulous views across Hamilton Island Marina by utilising your very own dock for your reception. You and your guests will enjoy exclusive use a dock in Hamilton Island Marina, which can be decorated to suit your wedding theme.
